One teaching that Subramanian could never forget :

Many years ago, S. Subramanian of Mumbai was experiencing a difficult family problem and wanted to run away from it all.

Swamiji said to him: “Face the problem! You’ll get all the answers you need from Chapter III of the Bhagavad-gita.”


And Swamiji added :-

“Whatever comes, take it with laughter. Never be grim.”

That is one teaching that Subramanian could never forget,

and he has applied it successfully in his own life.

People who work with him often remarked that he was able to laugh, no matter what happened.

“That’s what my teacher has taught me,” he said.


Subramanian recalls :-

‘How Gurudev used to laugh! No one could laugh like him.'

Once, when he started laughing in Gurudev’s presence, Gurudev said,

"Now, you’re coming very close to me!"
