Do not close your door and brood in the darkness :

Worldly thoughts lead to indulgence, bringing you down from pleasure to disappointment and dejection.

Divine thoughts take you up from pleasure to bliss, intelligence and progress in life.

Worldly thoughts bring pleasure only as memory, while Divine thoughts come as reality.

Do not close your door and brood in the darkness.

When harshness and misery come, instead of going down under them, the awakened soul becomes triumphant.

When they meet with difficulties they always derive blessing from them.

But how quickly we go down under the stress of life.

As long as we have an unbroken consciousness of the Divine Presence we shall feel secure and shall remain devoted or committed .

Love, forgiveness, tolerance are qualities that come from within as a result of an expansion of the soul.

The great thing in any kind of work is to keep ourselves quiet and serene, never fretful or morose.
When are we happiest?

When we have a sense of spiritual relationship with mankind, then the veil of selfishness is lifted from our inner vision and we realise the oneness of our soul with the Great Soul and all humanity.
