“This is so much!” :

One day, an assistant who was helping Swamiji with his daily correspondence was overwhelmed at the amount of work before her and said to him :
“This is so much!”

He said quietly, “See how every day I work and do a little . . . and slowly it all gets done.”

Some devotees who also led active professional lives were distraught because the ethical values they had learned to integrate into their lives as part of assimilating Vedanta seemed to be unduly challenged by certain work environments.

Swamiji always had wise words to impart.
