One very important question in Ramayana would be....What sort of mind should we travel with in Life ?  We should understand what sort of mind we need?  As far as we are concerned, we all need recognition and appreciation from people. We want everyone to like us .  To seek attention from others we dress up, we use different costumes, we use make up, different hairstyles etc presently, instead we can think of attracting people through our communication. Without craving for attraction externally our communication should be such that automatically people get attracted to us. They should long for our company.  Our parents could help in developing qualities such as eye to eye contact, smile, expressiveness, voice modulation and so on.  So too.....addressing people and conveying our message with clarity.  Our first goal should be in attracting others through our communication skills and not our external looks. When we journey through Rama story our aim should not be to enjoy the story .  This is not what Valmiki Maharshi wanted .  Instead the motive was to understand and observe the characters in the story and connect the same by learning it and applying it to our life and moving forward.  Ramayanam is a pathway that teaches us this.  The manner in which we use a GPS to follow directions while travelling by car similarly Ramayanam is a GPS in a story form to show us which direction our mind should turn or move in this journey of life.  When we think of this.... we travel with our present mind since we are not trained or educated regarding this.  Many of us are not clear regarding what mind we should possess.  We require a psychological study in this matter.  This was the reason for Gurukula Vidya Practice.  Rama’s education begins with gurukulam teaching initially with Vashista Maharshi and later with Vishwamitra Maharshi.  Vashista is the one who who

One needs a scientific intellect.The .The beauty is when one understands this can experienced in this very life itself .This has been proved by our ancestors .  While other religions talk about Heaven, we do not experience heaven on the top of earth when Alive. The heaven far away in the sky is impossible for us to experience but here , Rama twatwam can be experienced in this life itself.The only one religion that turns knowledge to experience is Hinduism. When we speak about Rama Tatwam ... what does it mean?  Rama Sita Tatwam is what Lord Parama Shiva explains to Sita Devi in Ramayana. When told as a story, after Ram’s victory over Ravana , Sita was welcomed at Ayodhya after her Agni Pariksha, Raman who reached Ayodhya while ruling there, asked Sita to explain Rama Tatwam to Hanuman Swami.

" Ahalya Moksham in Epic Ramayanam " - Swami Udit Chaithanya ------------------------------------------------------- After Sri Rama completed Vishwamitra Maharshi’s Yagam, Rishi takes Rama to Ahalya Devi’s Gautama Ashram.  She is Gautama Maharshi’s wife.  She now lies as a stone due to an earlier curse.  To bring her back to life, by touching Sri Rama Swami’s feet, Vishwamitra brings Rama here .  This story is known to all ( Curse to Ahalya ) but what actually is the message here ?  Bringing back a person who is like a dead stone to Life .  What is the meaning of lying like a stone ?  We should not understand this in its grossified sense, instead, have to understand it subtlety.  Ramatwam is when we make an effort to bring life back into a person.  This is the great humanity of mankind.  They are many minds that lie as stones..... means stones are heavy.  Minds that are heavy due to Life’s difficulties such as sorrows, similarly you

AM. ----------------------------------------- Ramayanam  begins with Valmiki going along with his discipline to bathe in the bank of the river Tamasa that flowed near the river Ganga.  While doing so his eyes fell upon two Krauncha birds who were enjoying and making each other happy.  A cruel hunter hunts down the male bird, that struggled and fell onto the ground . Valmiki’s gaze fell upon this sight and compassion aroused in the kind hearted sage at the sight of the struggling male bird fallen and the piteous wailing of the female partner after being separated from her mate.  Valmiki witnessed all that had happened and involuntarily burst into a poetic verse, that seemed to flow out spontaneously.  It was in the form of a song with 4 lines.  This was the very first time a sloka was ever uttered by anyone.
