One very important question in Ramayana would be....What sort of mind should we travel with in Life ?  We should understand what sort of mind we need?  As far as we are concerned, we all need recognition and appreciation from people. We want everyone to like us .  To seek attention from others we dress up, we use different costumes, we use make up, different hairstyles etc presently, instead we can think of attracting people through our communication. Without craving for attraction externally our communication should be such that automatically people get attracted to us. They should long for our company.  Our parents could help in developing qualities such as eye to eye contact, smile, expressiveness, voice modulation and so on.  So too.....addressing people and conveying our message with clarity.  Our first goal should be in attracting others through our communication skills and not our external looks. When we journey through Rama story our aim should not be to enjoy the story .  This is not what Valmiki Maharshi wanted .  Instead the motive was to understand and observe the characters in the story and connect the same by learning it and applying it to our life and moving forward.  Ramayanam is a pathway that teaches us this.  The manner in which we use a GPS to follow directions while travelling by car similarly Ramayanam is a GPS in a story form to show us which direction our mind should turn or move in this journey of life.  When we think of this.... we travel with our present mind since we are not trained or educated regarding this.  Many of us are not clear regarding what mind we should possess.  We require a psychological study in this matter.  This was the reason for Gurukula Vidya Practice.  Rama’s education begins with gurukulam teaching initially with Vashista Maharshi and later with Vi...
